Safeguarding
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We work hard to create a nursery environment where children feel safe, valued, listened to and protected. Our team is trained to recognise and respond to concerns, however small they may seem, with professional curiosity, care and confidence. We take a proactive approach to managing risk, keeping clear records, acting quickly when concerns arise, and working closely with families and external professionals where needed. Above all, we believe safeguarding depends on openness and trust, so that staff, parents and carers as well as children feel able to speak up, knowing concerns will be taken seriously and handled sensitively. Privacy
We know that families trust us with important personal information, and we take that responsibility seriously. We collect and use information only where it is needed to care for children, support families, meet our legal duties and keep the nursery running safely and effectively. Personal data is handled on a need-to-know basis, stored securely, and only shared with authorised people or organisations where there is a clear reason to do so. We are transparent about how information is used, how long it is kept, and the rights families have over their data.
